North construction causes car chaos

By Denebola StaffDue to construction at Newton North High School, faculty parking
issues have plagued the North community.
The City of Newton fenced off North’s fields and parking lot at the
beginning of construction. Teachers are not designated a parking spot,
but are instead given parking area on a designated road.
A raffle that took place over the summer determined where teachers
would be able to park. Many teachers have found that their spots are
unavailable at many points during the day.
Parking lots at local stores, such as Star Market, have been opened
and buses have been commissioned to run between the lots and the
North sports teams have also been relocated to various fields in the
